Kadimah
Kadimah
Kadimah is our program for the years after b'nei mitzvah. Meeting twice a month with the rabbi, we explore many topics to further Jewish knowledge and commitment. Tenth Graders will work towards creating both a liturgy and a personal statement for Confirmation.
Theology -the many ways Jews understand God
Ethics - how Jews respond to challenging situations
Reform Jewish Principles - where we come from and who we are
Jewish Prayer - how it is structured and why
Israel - the roots of Zionism, our connections to the Jewish people, and contemporary challenges
Our students are encouraged to work in our Sunday School as madrichim, as their example and leadership are a continuing inspiration for all of the younger students.
