Need people ages 12 and up

Schedule 10:15 to 12:15 at Fuller farm located at 995 route 149 in Marstons Mills. Project includes landscape/weeding/planting/trail maintenance/invasive plant removal led by Barnstable Land trust director of Land stewardship Kelly Barber. Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves and gardening or landscaping tools if they have them if not they will provide some. Please wear clothes toe shoes long pants t-shirt and hat. Pants should be tucked into your socks and shirt tucked into your pants. Sunscreen and bug spray also recommended there will be access to a bathroom.

Help with clothing, school supplies, etc. for one student in the local schools. To begin in early August, commit on Mitzvah Day.  It’s about $100 per child.  
More than one family can help with a backpack for each child.

Toiletries for Mother’s Day

Donating cosmetics, fuzzy socks and $10 gift cards. (Target, Old Navy, CVS, and supermarkets) We are donating to Safe Harbor and Independence House, two Hyannis women’s shelters. There are approximately 40 women and 40 children in one shelter and more in the other one.  Other items needed: sunblock, swimming or beach stuff (pail/shovel), lip protection, outdoor games for kids (jump ropes, blow up beach balls, etc.)  
arts & craft supplies - sidewalk chalk, crayons, paper, coloring books, etc
Much of this can be purchased at Dollar Tree and you may bring it on Mitzvah Day.
 
Beach Clean-up

Cooking for the Caring Committee at the CCS Kitchen

There will be some breakfast foods available in the morning.
Lunch will be provided at 12:30pm for everyone at the synagogue.
